Isabella Degen - die als Schriftstelle-rin, Journalistin und Malerin tätig ist, schreibt ihre Werke in Polnisch. 1991 debütierte sie mit der Erzählung „Der ausländische Ehemann', für die sie mit einem Literaturpreis geehrt wurde.1995 veröffentliche sie unter dem Titel„Sich selbst gewinnen' ein Tagebuch, in dem sie offen und ohne Tabus über ihre Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen in ihrer neuen Heimat Deutschland berichtet.Bei dem Frieling Verlag in Berlin erschienen 1998 und 2000 in der Anthologie ,,Prosa de Luxe', Werke von ihr. Mit der Publikation der Erzählung „Auf den Spuren von Salvador Dali', sie hat teilgenommen an der Jubiläums-Anthologie 2011 im Edition Haag+ Herchen. Das Buch „Mit dem Rhythmus der Erde' ist die eine Sammlung von interessanten Gedichten aus Ihrer polnischen Ausgabe „W rytmie Ziemi'
