MIS HORAS BLANCAS es un libro que escribí durante el curso escolar 1962-1963, en un pequeño pueblo cercano a Albacete, obligado por mi profesión. Está escrito en forma de diario, estilo poco cultivado en nuestro tiempo. En él aparecen esas palabras inmutables de amor, felicidad, ilusión, fe, esperanza, incomprensión, melancolía, ansiedad, angustia, miedo... Conceptos que nacieron con la humanidad misma, que se conservan primitivos y que no podrá domeñar el hombre jamás, porque son inevitablemente jóvenes y viejos a la vez. Conceptos que son los imprescindibles miembros de ese inconmensurable cuerpo que se llama soledad. Palabras que han cantado en todos los idiomas todos los poetas del mundo y que han adivinado, quizás, demasiado tarde, todas las almas de la Tierra
