The prologue relates vivid details of an air-ambulance trip from the intensive-care unit at the Governor Juan Luis Hospital, St. Croix, Virgin Islands, to Miami Beach, Florida, as the author sought the expertise of an electro-physiologist. Looking back at her entire life’s experience, the author concluded that she had much to share with fellow travelers. The story takes the reader from Trinidad and Tobago in the southern Caribbean, through Barbados, St. Lucia, Dominica, and Antigua, to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where the author and her husband now reside. The book is filled with intrigue, happy times and heartaches, goals achieved and disappointments, near death encounters and true love.As the author has experienced God’s care throughout her adventurous life, she can only be very grateful, and this book expresses her appreciation to God and all whose lives touched hers in positive ways.
