In this second module of this 3-part teaching series we discuss the role of servant leaders in our churches. We ensure that the reader has a clear understanding of what it means to be a servant leader and how does this type of leader govern. We make it clear that the servant leadership style is doing leadership the Kingdom way. We also take the time to explain the importance of stewardship and address what it means to be a true steward being accountable for our time, talent and treasure. Readers will also learn how important it is to give genuine service when doing the work of ministry because the God we serve judges the heart of His servants. In the latter chapters we address the subject of teamwork and give examples of how teams were deployed to accomplish the work of the ministry. Every leader will have to choose a style of leadership to utilize, however, we believe that the transformational style of leadership is the best style to be used by Christian leaders. We share keys to becoming a transformational leader and give examples of popular transformational leaders of our era. We concluded this module by bringing great emphasis to the importance of Prayer in the progress of any vision or mission. Some key principles of prayer and a sample prayer are provided.
