The monograph is devoted to the history of military medicine of the Russian Empire in the Turkestan region (in the second half of the XIX - early XX century). The study attempts a comprehensive study of this topic. Based on the analysis of a wide range of archival materials, the source base of the imperial time, as well as scientific literature, the monograph examines the following issues: the formation of military health care (legislative framework, logistics), the functioning of military medical infrastructure, sanitary and epidemic situation in the troops and the region, the activities of military doctors.
