This is the poetry of a man who used to busk in Central Park under the name of Ruben De Escapado. He now goes under the name of ruben encontrado. It is a collection of about five years worth of poetry. Beginning from a time of solitude, then that of flattery and love, isolation and betrayal, and the pursuit of redemption. Throughout the course of these five years he frequently wrote until pens ran out of ink. This is a collection of one with little talent and ability, but of extreme resolve and dedication. Pursuing their dream with tunnel vision because others told him he could not achieve it.The hard cover 'Christmas Edition' of this poetry collection is a hard cover and includes essays that introduce the various transitions that the project tries to encapsulate. It will also include a new ten part poem titled 'Tomorrow Will Be Yesterday'. This poem is the poem that ruben performed at Bowery Poetry club. He views is at as the bullet that killed the boy and gave birth to the man.ruben encontrado self-identifies as an activist and absolutely ridiculous. It is his hope that as you follow the trajectory of his writing you witness the shedding and becoming of the self that we go through in the pursuit of truth in this challenging life. You are deeply appreciative for your support.
