Doch was bringen Mentoring-Programme wirklich? Diese grundlegende Frage ist in der bisherigen Forschung noch nicht geklärt, das Input-Output-Verhältnis schwierig zu fassen. Bahar Haghanipour geht dieser Frage anhand von Interviews mit ehemaligen Teilnehmerinnen eines Mentoring-Programms nach. Sie untersucht die nachhaltigen Wirkungen dieser spezifischen Maßnahme und übersetzt sie in Handlungsempfehlungen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das Mentoring gerade auf einer psychosozialen Ebene wirkt, aber Forderungen an Wirtschaft und Politik bestehen bleiben. Eine sich anschließende Idealtypenbildung gibt der Mentoring-Forschung neuen Input.
