My dream of going to, Nigeria, West Africa began in 1974. I didn’t go to Nigeria until 2004. Don’t give up on your dream even it takes 30 years. Some things are worth the wait. This book gives some of the details of my travels to Ghana,Burundi,Nigeria,Rwanda,Liberia and Kenya. Each of the nations have their own history and culture. Africa is such a huge continent. It would be impossible to cover all of the details of the trips.Traveling to the nations that I traveled gave me insight that books don´t cover. The people in each nation had their own way to survive and thrive. The food and clothing was different in each location. The people were as curious about me,an African American grandmother,as I was about them. They loved seeing my family photos and appreciated my wisdom as an elder. They were friendly and hospitable. My plans for 2014 is to go to South Africa, Botswana and Zambia. I haven´t been to any of the southern part of Africa. Contact me if you are interested in going to minister with me. My e-mail is deloresd2003@yahoo.com.
