Meltdown at Nempa Brooks is a realistic fiction about some boisterous or mischievous activities that take place in our contemporary societies and the evil effects they have on our communities. This is a story of how Aku, a rural community, was nearly destroyed by a counterfeit, a self-acclaimed Man of God, who exploited the fears and ignorance of the villagers to criminal advantage. The war of attrition that ensured as a result of the man of God’s criminal manipulation of a particular faction within Aku, led to near-total devastation of the community’s age-long tradition and culture. The communal problem that followed the divisions was nearly settled before another catastrophe hit.
