O panorama empresarial atual enfrenta uma série de desafios globais, tais como crises ambientais, perturbações tecnológicas e, mais recentemente, a pandemia global e persistente de Covid-19. A mudança organizacional é uma necessidade fundamental no ambiente empresarial atual devido a uma série de factores que têm impacto no seu funcionamento e sucesso a longo prazo. Estas circunstâncias evidenciaram as deficiências das abordagens de gestão tradicionais. O objetivo da investigação é desenvolver a análise SWOT para contribuir para a melhoria da gestão empresarial. Foi utilizado o método histórico-lógico, análise-síntese, ferramentas estratégicas derivadas da análise SWOT e métodos empíricos, tais como revisões da literatura, entrevistas informais e observações diretas. Isto permite dotar a empresa de vantagens competitivas, garantir a sua adaptabilidade no sector a que pertence, procurar o reforço das oportunidades e a redução das ameaças.
