The book 'Meditations' is a compilation of various topics. These heartfelt private meditations were developed as a resource, for full-time servants and laymen and are intended to stir the hearts and minds of all who read this book. This book Meditations has been written and can be used in many different ways, as follows: First of all, in a person’s devotional life. Second, the book is to encourage believers and to challenge them to study and meditate more seriously in the Scriptures. Third, it is to be a resource which can be used in the discipleship of new converts. Lastly, these various subjects were planned to aid the readers to think upon the Lord. Have an open heart, mind, and a teachable spirit as you read and study and meditate in God’s Word.Rev Coggins is a native of Sanford, North Carolina. He was saved in April of 1960 at Grace Chapel Church in Sanford. Rev. Larry Coggins began in the gospel ministry in 1970. He was ordained May 30th, 1970 after his graduation from Shenandoah Bible College. He served as a missionary evangelist with Visitation Evangelism Training, Inc. He interned and traveled with the late evangelist, Carlo Pietropaulo. He traveled extensively in the USA primarily training local churches in visitation evangelism. After his ten years with Visitation Evangelism Training, Inc., Rev. Coggins served three years in Dillsburg, PA. Rev. Coggins was called to come to Alexandria, VA., in 1983 and has served for the last twenty-two years as visitation pastor, at the Rose Hill Baptist Church. He is married to his wife Vera, and has two grown children, Andrea and Jonathan, and one grandchild, Patrick. His children are serving the Lord also at Rose Hill Baptist Church.
