Ungeachtet der breiten und intensiven Nutzung digitaler Medien in der Studieneingangsphase - insbesondere im Bereich mathematiknaher Studiengänge - bleiben viele Facetten dieses Einsatzes nach wie vor unklar. Insbesondere ist wenig darüber bekannt, wie sich das Mathematiklernen mit Lernvideos, Moodle-Lektionen oder anderen instruktionalen Medien in Lernendenpaaren gestaltet. Diesem Forschungsfeld widmete sich das vom BMBF geförderte Projekt mamdim - Mathematiklernen mit digitalen Medien.Im vorliegenden Band werden, basierend auf der detaillierten Darstellung fünf erfolgreicher Gestaltungskonzepte verschiedener Hochschulstandorte, Beiträge zu zentralen Fragen des beschriebenen Forschungsfeldes geleistet:Wie intensiv kommunizieren paarweise Lernende über zentrale mathematische Inhalte?Können bestimmte Gestaltungsmerkmale der eingesetzten Medien eine solche mathematikbezogene Kommunikation anregen?Wie wirken sich Lernvideos und andere Medien auf Motivation und Selbstkonzept der Lernenden aus?Was sind erfolgreiche Gestaltungskonzepte für digitale Instruktionsformate?Welche Rolle spielt die Anfertigung und Nutzung klassischer handgeschriebener Notizen beim Lernen mit den digitalen Medien?Abschließend werden die zentralen Ergebnisse zusammengefasst und konkrete Transferempfehlungen für all jene abgeleitet, die instruktionale Medien konzipieren, konkret gestalten oder einsetzen möchten.
