This book is about three squirrels named Ingra, Onda, and Hillo exploring the deep Maine woods. Ingra narrowly escapes the claws of an eagle and the belly of a hungry fox. Onda dearly loves her sister Ingra, and wants to protect her at all times. Then, there is their brother Hillo who always seems to get himself into trouble. Along the way, you’ll meet many of their wilderness friends as the squirrels explore the world around them.
