Spack teaches third grade at Churchville Elementary School in Churchville, Pennsylvania. Before teaching, he was a marketing researcher. This is his third book. The first book, The Snack Machine, was published in 2017, and it was followed by The Cat Burglars in 2019. The author is married to Michele, the director of elementary education for a neighboring school district. They live in Newtown, Pennsylvania, with their two cats, Pebbles and Bam Bam. He enjoys sports, fitness, hiking, music, and the martial arts, being a third-degree black belt, and a Tai Chi and Qigong practitioner.
