Dieses Buch befasst sich mit der Verwendung und Anwendung des Light Weight Deflectometers (LWD) zur Bewertung von Straßenbelägen. Mit dem LWD lässt sich der Oberflächenmodul von Straßenbelagsschichten vor Ort schnell bestimmen. In dieser Arbeit wurde der LWD zur Abschätzung des Oberflächen- und Untergrundmoduls vor Ort verwendet und auf dieser Grundlage wurden Sanierungsstrategien entwickelt. Der LWD-Test wurde an 52 Schadensstellen auf einer bituminösen Oberfläche, WMM, GSB und Untergrund durchgeführt. An denselben Testpunkten wurden die Felddichten gemessen und Proben für Laboruntersuchungen entnommen. Mit der Software LWDmod wurde der rückberechnete Modul für jede Schicht ermittelt. Für die Leistungsanalyse wurden die rückberechneten Modulwerte des 90. Perzentils herangezogen. Mit der Software IITpave wurde die Leistung der bestehenden Fahrbahn anhand der rückberechneten Modulwerte analysiert. Unter Verwendung der Norm IRC 37-2012 werden drei Alternativen für die Sanierung vorgeschlagen.
