Il viaggio della famiglia di Pua, il bambino che sa parlare alle pietre, diventa un percorso alla scoperta dell’amore e dell’amicizia, delle relazioni familiari e sociali, dove non mancano le avversità naturali né quelle causate dalla malvagità dell’uomo, dove sofferenza e morte sono spesso presenti, anche in modo crudo e violento, ma dove al centro resta il valore della persona che si realizza e trionfa non nella sterile ricerca di affermazione o prevaricazione, né nella solitudine o nell’isolamento, ma nell’anelito di incontro e nella scoperta delle relazioni familiari e sociali.
