Two estranged childhood best friends reunite over the course of a disastrous family holiday and begin pushing the boundaries of friendship in new and steamy directions. She is used to being the reliable one in the family, bringing in a steady income and supporting their families in Dex’s absence. The last thing she expected was for them to show up for the joint holiday their families are planning. Now, she is forced to spend her sun-soaked fortnight in close proximity to Dex Carpenter-Brown and their triumphant return. As everyone falls at their feet and forgives them for running off, she must play nice to avoid ruining everyone’s trip. But as she learns their side of things and the pair make moves to repair their friendship, things take an unexpectedly intimate twist.
