Indie Small, a young magick practitioner, meets Lindiwe Ethereal, a young professional magick practitioner from an occult organization called BEACONS, and the two instantly form a connection. The two become acquainted after Lindiwe breaks into Indie’s bookstore in a desperate attempt to find a magic handbook. After their first date, and meeting at BEACONS’s private seminar, Lindiwe ghosts Indie, but leaves a peculiar message for him, so Indie brings along his friends - who have limited esoteric knowledge, to try and help him find her. Together, they crack Lindiwe’s message and discover that she had passed through an obscure tunnel called The 555 Tunnel. But Indie’s convinced that Lindiwe hasn’t gone through this tunnel yet, so they delve deeper into their search for her. Probing further, they begin to uncover more about the secret organization, and soon believe it had something to do with Lindiwe’s mysterious disappearance. They become exposed to multiple life-threatening situations, including possession, attempted assassinations, encounter with dark creatures, murder, and Indie’s mysterious disappearance.
