REFLECTIVE VISIONS OF LOVE - Love is unspeakable joy that floats like a gentle breeze upon a rushing wave on the sea... Life leads us down many paths, whether or not of our own choosing; only time will tell. But, like laughter blowing in the wind, often the soothing melodies of our hearts bring us comfort and consolation. Poetry has a way of bringing us more in touch with deeper aspects of ourselves, we would otherwise simply ignore. Every poem in some way is like a spectrum of light, flowing from within our heart and soul, or mind and spirit; and suggests to us with clarity, insight, or wonderment that life is meant to be lived happily; with a sense of excitement, peace, loving-kindness and love. Love is the greatest tool that brings about this state of awareness and joy. However, often whatever dreams we have, simply fall by the wayside, because of the lack self-knowledge, aspiration, as well as self-esteem or self-empowerment. Poetry offers us a means to view reflections of how our passions reveal to us what happens within our innermost being, at any given moment, no matter where we are, or what our state of mind may be. Poetry has a way of drawing us closer to ourselves, and thus to one another. A role of a poet is to help us gravitate in the direction of self inspiration and introspection, which leads us to greater heights in consciousness, and deeper understandings of life. When we develop and choose to live from such perspective, our passions awaken us to greater possibilities as we journey down our individual paths, with a sense of globalization, sharing, caring, compassionate thinking, and harmony. This present work, Love and Paper Rumors, is a compendium of poems, accentuated with the theme of love as an instrument, blowing like a trumpet, resonating in the mind and soul of the readers, and causing their heart to excite. 'Paper Rumors' alludes to all those things - perceptions, misconceptions, 'shadow elements,' etc., we carry around or just han
