El tema de la jubilación de los Pastores es un tema que muchas veces se evita hablar en las congragaciones de creyentes. A veces se tiene temor de preguntar o de aconsejar a un Clérigo que se Jubile, por que se cree que se está ofendiendo a un líder espiritual. Aunque el tema de la jubilación o Retiro de los lideres religiosos es delicado, yo entiendo que ambos Laicos como Pastores necesitamos conocer la belleza del proceso. Este comienza desde el momento en que, Dios nos llama a tiempo completo al Ministerio laboral, hasta el momento en que nos llama a tiempo completo al Ministerio servicial. Mi oración es que los Lectores, a través de este, reciban una gama de conocimiento y bendiciones que contribuya a su paz y alegría al celebrar este gran don que es la Jubilación. Rev. Dr. Enrique Lebrón El Rev. Dr. Enrique Lebrón es un Presbítero Jubilado de la Iglesia Metodista de Puerto Rico y de su a liación con la amada Iglesia Metodista Unida de New York. Su jornada académica es la siguiente: Su Bachillerato fue realizado en la Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, recinto en la ciudad de Ponce (1985). Obtuvo su Maestría en el Seminario Evangélico de Puerto Rico, en Rio Piedras (1989. Ya trabajando en la ciudad de New York adquirió su grado Doctoral de Drew University (1999). Bajo sus Obispos Metodistas logró ser Líder Espiritual de 5 Iglesias y sus comunidades: San Andrés Apóstol- Iglesia Metodista en Aguas Buenas PR., Iglesia Metodista Peña de Horeb de Palo Seco, Maunabo PR, Immanuel and First Spanish United Methodist Church Brooklyn NY, Hauppauge and First United Methodist Church, English and Spanish at Central Islip Long Island NY, Community United Methodist Church English, Spanish and Chinese with a School (We all spoke 18 Languages) at Jackson Heights, Queens NY, and Riverhead United Methodist Church, English and Spanish, Long Island NY.
