'[...] el hecho de que tiempos dificiles vengan a nuestras vidas nos debe causar alegría, porque eso nos permite ver que Dios se está ocupando de nosotros para hacernos 'Hermanos míos, gozaos profundamente cuando os halléis en diversas pruebas' (Santiago 1:2 RVR95). Las dificultades en la vida del cristiano son una buena señal. Y si no vinieran tiempos dificiles a nuestras vidas, entonces deberíamos estar muy preocupados, porque eso significaria que no somos hijos de 'Porque el Señor al que ama, disciplina, y azota a todo el que recibe por hijo. Si soportáis la disciplina. Dios os trata como a hijos, porque ¿qué hijo es aquel a quien el padre no disciplina? Pero si se os deja sin disciplina, de la cual todos han sido participantes, entonces sois bastardos y no hijos' (Hebreos 12:6-8 RVR 1960).'
