This book is the story of single father and the enormous challenges endured while raising his mentally ill, adopted son. The content tells the story of this adoption and how behaviors exceeded the community's abilities, effectively rendering the family torn apart. Many common disorders found in foster children are discussed in this book including some of the common medications currently used. The narrative also discusses the navigation of the insurance, and school system to advocate for a special needs child. The intent of this shared story is to help foster ideas with other struggling families so that they may find peace again within their own families and their children will also find the help they so desperately want.
