Una tarde de jueves cualquiera, Celeste huye de casa y se suma como trapecista a un circo que va de pueblo en pueblo. Hasta que conoce a Roger, un inmigrante centroamericano que llega por casualidad a la caravana para resguardarse de un diluvio. Confiados en que se separarán en cualquier parada de la ruta, los dos trenzan un vínculo sin pretensiones: ambos buscan apenas sobrevivir al momento. Pero con la convivenciapercibirán que, de lo que huyen, es difícil alejarse. Los miedos, los fantasmas y las confesiones impensadas aparecerán sobre la ruta, pese a sus luchas por vencer a la memoria y al temor de zozobrar en conversaciones a solas. Andrea Centeno se detiene con perspicacia en detalles pequeños para hacer aflorar las pulsiones más insospechadas de cada uno de los protagonistas.
