'Living on The Edge' is based on a true story. It was written to draw attention to as many Parents as possible; not just the ones who are going through a divorce. It is especially dedicated to the Parents who don’t have the slightest idea a problem even exists. The majority of these Parents are the main people who are headed for the shock of a lifetime. I hope to prevent this! Reading my book might give them some insight as to what might really be going through their child’s mind; thereby preventing something they never expected, a cruel some shock. I am hoping by reaching enough Parents publicly it will draw their attention to what might be in store for them through what they have read and come to realize, 'maybe everything isn’t alright.' If I can reach just a few Families then I feel the hard work we, 'Trish and I,' have done has accomplished something. We will be deeply grateful if just one child is spared the horror and torment which Trish and many others have experienced. Trish is the main character in 'Living on The Edge.' We spent months working together through tears and laughter. It was so hard for her going back over and over things which happened to her as far back as she could remember until now. Most people don’t really think about it. As you read 'Living on The Edge' you will come to understand how a little four letter word such as 'LOVE' can make all the difference in your life. This is why my book will appeal to the readers, 'Everybody needs LOVE.' They just need to start remembering to show it.
