Can I keep it real with you? Not that a no was going to keep me from doing it anyway...Let’s keep it real. It's hard to live in our personal truths when it sometimes feels like the odds are stacked against us. We have people on the outside spewing their personal opinions about our lives and what we are doing; We have our many responsibilities demanding us to show up for not only ourselves but other people as well; We have past failures that seem to loom over us; AND it seems like our boundaries are often disrespected. On top of all that, we have that small voice in our head that is constantly reflecting on what goes on in our lives! It can sometimes get irritating and leave you feeling defeated. We can get so overwhelmed, internally, that we ultimately decide to just do nothing. It honestly feels easier to do nothing than to acknowledge the truths we have buried inside us because of everything going on around us. It’s time to take that first step! It’s okay if you don’t see that step yet. We are about to journey together as I share my journey with you. At the end of the day, our goal is to walk in our individual purpose despite what life may look like right now. It is our goal to walk in our purpose regardless of what other people say. It is our goal to walk in our purpose even when we can’t see the end goal. That’s what this book is about. It's about looking within ourselves to find the answers we have been seeking. It’s about taking that first step towards tomorrow and our purpose.
