Little Women follows the four March sisters-Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy-as they grow from childhood into adulthood during the American Civil War. Each sister faces her own challenges and dreams: Meg longs for a stable, loving home; Jo pursues independence and a writing career; Beth embodies kindness and struggles with frail health; and Amy seeks artistic accomplishment and social refinement. Through family hardships, friendships, love, loss, and personal growth, the novel explores themes of sisterhood, morality, ambition, and the different paths women choose in shaping their lives.
