LITERATURA CUBANA DE LOS SIGLOS XIX Y XX (Del Casal y Martí, Guillén y Lezama Lima, entre otros) compiles 22 essays by Carlos M. Taracido on important authors of Cuban literature.           Every anthology is the sum of a literary record. Throughout its historical development, Cuba has witnessed the convergence of various cultural forms. In its physical and human scope, multiple resonances have been confused, which have followed the rhythm of the ups and downs of history, initially indigenous, Spanish and African accents and, later, French, North American and other various origins. However, the genuine Cuban spirit is enlivened by the breath of Hispanicity, which flows through the channels of language, religion, blood and tradition, both cultural and social.           This book includes studies on Loveira, Cabrera Infante, Lezama Lima, José A. Buesa, Martí, Heredia, Plácido, Nicolás Guillén, José A. Ramos, Julián del Casal, Cirilo Villaverde, Carpentier and other studies on the Cuban tenth, poetry of Cuban romanticism and Afro-Cuban poetry ***** Carlos Manuel Taracido, (Güines, La Habana, 1943). 3
