The poems speak of love, dreams, childhood, friendship and everything in between, both personal and imaginary, since the poet have not experienced everything life has to offer yet. However, the inspiration for everything in this collection comes from personal experiences. It is a way of expressing the expressions of life through poetry. Sofie Munk Hasselbom began writing poetry somewhere during her first year of high school in 2007. Since then the writing has been on-going and finished in 2016. As oppose to writing fiction and other kinds of prose; poetry is a very different way of using the written language to construct and tell a story or narrative. This book contains the collection of the poet's favorite poems and they are ready for others to read. These literary expressions of life are a subjective view of life, based on the poet's own personal experiences. Therefore, this collection serves as both a view on life in general and an insight into the mind of the poet.
