I wrote it with the intention of portraying him in a movie or a television show with the same passion I had for playing baseball, in addition to surrounding his life with something different. Time passed and I could no longer physically play the role. But the story has always stayed with me. I have now completed it in a novella entitled, Listen to the Rain. It is my first contemporary offering about a complex young man who was also involved in organized crime. But he never lost his desire to play baseball as a career and found love along the way.
