Listen to Me is a collection of Dmitra-Dejahnae Lucas’ poetry and prose. This work of art is bound by the spoken and unspoken conversations throughout the author’s life. Being handed a blue composition notebook in a child’s psychiatric hospital ignited Ms. Lucas’ pen(wo)manship. Currently, Ms. Lucas resides in Austin, TX and manifests everything her inner child dreamed of with Listen to Me being the gunshot to commence her marathon.
