Il a été en première ligne de l’attaque contre la Constitution américaine. Aucun groupe n’a produit plus de propagande pour inciter les États-Unis à participer à la Première Guerre mondiale à une époque où la majorité du peuple américain s’y opposait.Les mêmes tactiques ont été utilisées par les spécialistes des sciences sociales de Tavistock pour faire entrer les États-Unis dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la Corée, le Vietnam, la Serbie et les deux guerres contre l’Irak. Tavistock a commencé en tant qu’organisation de création et de diffusion de propagande à Wellington House, à Londres, à l’approche de la Première Guerre mondiale, ce que Toynbee appelait 'ce trou noir de la désinformation'. À une autre occasion, Toynbee a qualifié la Wellington House de 'fabrique de mensonges'. Après des débuts quelque peu rudimentaires, la Wellington House est devenue le Tavistock Institute et a façonné le destin de l’Allemagne, de la Russie, de la Grande-Bretagne et des États-Unis d’une manière très controversée. Les peuples de ces nations ne savaient pas qu’ils subissaient un 'lavage de cerveau'. L’origine du 'contrôle de l’esprit', du 'conditionnement directionnel intérieur' et du 'lavage de cerveau' de masse est expliquée dans un livre facile à comprendre et écrit avec une grande autorité.La chute des dynasties catholiques, la révolution bolchevique, la Première et la Seconde Guerre mondiale qui ont vu la destruction d’anciennes alliances et frontières, les convulsions de la religion, le déclin de la morale, la destruction de la vie familiale, la faillite des processus économique et politique, la décadence dans la musique et l’art peuvent tous être attribués à l’endoctrinement de masse (lavage de cerveau de masse) pratiqué par les scientifiques des sciences sociales de l’Institut Tavistock. Parmi les membres de la faculté de Tavistock figurait Edward Bernays, le neveu de Sigmund Freud. On dit que Herr Goebbels, ministre de la Propagande du Troisième Reich allemand, utilisait les méthodes conçues par Bernays ainsi que celles de Willy Munzenberg, dont la carrière extraordinaire est évoquée dans cet ouvrage sur le passé, le présent et l’avenir. Sans Tavistock, il n’y aurait pas eu la Première et la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, ni la révolution bolchevique, ni les guerres de Corée, du Vietnam, de Serbie et d’Irak. Sans Tavistock, les États-Unis ne seraient pas en train de se précipiter sur la voie de la dissolution et de l’effondrement.
