Like David, simply put, reflects on the life of David through his many decisions, battles, faith, and ultimately his love for God. We can truly glean much from the life of David, 'a man after God’s own heart,' as the Bible calls him. We should so endeavour to reflect the many attributes David showed as he started as a young shepherd boy, all the way to King David, leading many under his authority.Even in David’s failure, he showed that he loved God enough to lay down self and any pride and repent with his whole heart to God Almighty who then redeemed him from his sin although there were repercussions from it, David knew there is One Lord and he prayed as such as we will see conveyed in the Psalms referenced within this book.I can only pray it would lead you, the reader, to study not just David’s life but many others within the Bible so you too can live a life sold out to God - our true Savior Jesus Christ!
