As we travel through life we are faced with many paths and choices. Sometime the path will divide and we have to make a choice as to which one we will follow.  We will sometime pray, roll the dice, or flip a coin to make that choice. Most of these options are not the best way to make that choice. However we make the choice we have to live with the results. We can so easily lose our way if we are not careful.    I have live with the paths and choices I have made in life. Some were okay some not so good. Whichever it was good or bad you have to live with it. For the first half of my life I made some pretty bad choices and took some really bad paths. Thankfully I had people around me that never gave up on me. I finally found the Lord Jesus Christ and am at peace with myself. No I am not perfect and I still make my share of mistakes but I now know that no matter what happens I can go to the lord and ask for forgiveness. He is always there and always listening. By my faith I trust in his word that he will never leave or forsake me. I don’t feel I am qualified to tell you as an individual how to find him only refer you to his word which will be your guide. Prayer is always a good start. Talk to him as a person then listen. I know in my heart that he give me this ability to write poetry as a gift. I didn’t like English in school yet here I am writing. I have noticed that when I write that it calms me and opens me to his word. My writing is an outlet for me for all the choices I have made through life. I am not restricted to poems about religion but write a little something for everyone to enjoy. It is my hope that you find something in these writings that will help you when the path separates and a choice has to be made. The only advice I can give you is to keep your faith and focus of the light for it will be your guide on the path you should take.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
