What is God’s plan for our lives? What is God’s plan for our church? We can only find insights to address this kind of questions once we have grasped what God’s overall eternal plan is for His creation. God’s eternal plan for this world started with the events of Genesis and will end with what was revealed in Revelations. God’s people on earth will then proceed onwards to a new world for eternity. God’s plan calls for a complete restoration of creation back to His original design. God’s plan for His people therefore goes beyond their acceptance of His redemption, God intends to completely transform and restore His people to His original design. And for that end, He instituted the church and commissioned us to partner Him in His endeavour. When we can understand our existence and the church’s existence in the context of God’s eternal plan, then we can make sense of our lives and of everything that God asks us to do.上帝对我们的生命有什麽计划？ 上帝对我们的教会有什麽计划？ 当我们了解上帝对祂创造的整体永恒的计划时， 我们才能洞察其中找到奥秘以解答这些问题。上帝对这个世界的永恒计划始于创世记中的事件， 并终于启示录中所揭示的内容。世上的上帝子民随之将通往一个新的世界， 直到永远。上帝的计划要将创造物完全恢复到祂最初的设计。上帝对祂子民的计划并不以他们接受祂的救赎而告终， 上帝的意愿是要彻底改变并恢复祂的子民到祂原本所计划的样式。为此， 祂建立并吩咐我们与祂一起努力。当我们能明白我们的存在和教会的存在是在上帝永恒计划的框架内时， 我们便能理解上帝要我们所作的一切。
