Tom draws on his own in-depth research to paint a clear picture of the journeys undertaken by Believers from a Muslim Background. While a key finding is that every case is different, many common themes emerge. Particularly helpful is the reminder that the goal for these dear sisters and brothers (as for ourselves) is not simply conversion, but maturity in Christ. Tom describes essential ways in which the Church in Britain can help these new believers to grow in their faith. In the end this will mean that, as one people together, we can inhabit our calling more fully; and better live out the glorious reality of 'every nation, tribe, people and language'. In other words, this book is fundamentally about what it means to be the Church, and it helps us to get better at it. I, for one, thank God for Tom’s help and guidance on the way.
