Let It Grow by Chad Henderson gives the audience a behind-the-scenes look at the changing dynamics involved in the production of a 30-year-old public television show about gardening, but it also explores relationships that are both public and private and, ultimately, none of anyone else’s business other than the players involved. It invites a more nuanced look at intimacy and calls for humanity and rationality when doing so. Let It Grow is the fourth winning play in the Jasper Project’s Play Right Series. It was developed over the summer of 2024 and performed as a staged reading at Harbison Theatre on September 14, 2024 in Columbia, SC, USA.
