Mineração e Deslocamento dos Ribeirinhos no Rio Capim è un lavoro pionieristico che, oltre a contribuire alla comprensione e alla discussione dei conflitti sociali in Amazzonia nell’ambito delle Scienze Umane, si propone di fungere da base per una ricerca nuova, diversificata e approfondita sul processo di sfruttamento minerario della regione e sulle varie e conseguenti trasformazioni che si sono verificate e si verificheranno in questo luogo, incidendo sull’ambiente, sulla cultura, sull’economia e sull’autonomia delle comunità fluviali di questo territorio.
