He recognizes family, friends, mentors and loved ones who were instrumental in his Lessons Learned.Rick VanderHorst was born in 1952, in Celina, Ohio to parents Jerry and Janet VanderHorst. The second oldest of seven children, Rick graduated from The Ohio State University in 1975 and embarked on a highly successful entrepreneurial career in retail, insurance and technology over the next 44 years.As Trustee of the VanderHorst Family Foundation, he guides philanthropic endeavors around the world. His parents have had an immeasurable impact on him and his brothers and sisters. Rick has three wonderful children Liz, Nicole and James as well as his grandchildren JJ and Jaxson. In 2019 Rick married his lovely wife Jennifer, and they reside on the coast of Wales in the United Kingdom.
