LESSONS FROM THE WILDERNESS is a book about trials and challenges that everyone encounters in a lifetime. The 'wilderness' is used symbolically. One person’s wilderness may be that time of devastating illness. For another, the loss of a loved one may shift her/him into a wilderness experience. Basically, it represents those periods when we feel alone, discomforted, and without help or recourse. However, much can be learnd from what the wilderness offers, and spiritual growth can occur. It can propel us to the place we are destined to go with courage, confidence and exciting anticipation.
