Cet ouvrage explore la manière dont l’extraversion économique et la captation de la rente minière structurent durablement les trajectoires sociales, économiques et politiques de la Guinée, avec un focus empirique sur la région de Boké, zone stratégique de l’activité extractive. Elle interroge les formes de redistribution de la rente et met en lumière les dynamiques de pouvoir et les transformations sociales engendrées par l’extractivisme.L’étude se fonde sur le concept d’extractivisme (Gudynas, 2016), conçu comme un paradigme économique fondé sur l’exploitation intensive de ressources naturelles peu transformées. Elle le confronte à celui de développementisme, envisagé comme une orientation idéologique et politique de l’action de l’État en matière de développement territorial, historiquement lié à l’exploitation minière.L’analyse identifie un basculement de l’État centralisé et providentiel vers une délégation du développement aux entreprises extractives via des dispositifs de RSE (Responsabilité Sociétale des Entreprises). Ces dispositifs, bien que présentés comme des réponses aux besoins des communautés, sont également porteurs d’enjeux géopolitiques et stratégiques.
