Questo lavoro di storia sociale della letteratura cerca di visualizzare nella letteratura dei giovani della Turma do Central un disincanto nei confronti del loro recente passato, sia in ambito politico-sociale che letterario. Il lavoro analizza anche il ruolo del supplemento Arte-Literatura nell’aggiornamento e nella formazione dell’identità intellettuale di questi giovani che hanno reso possibili nuovi orientamenti per la letteratura locale.
