This book presents the lives of thirty-one influential Christian biblical preachers of the past sixteen centuries. All of these preachers had a great deal of influence beyond their own base of ministry. Dr. B. J. Hartman was born in Beech Grove, Indiana and grew up in Indianapolis. He received his bachelor’s degree from Quincy University, his master’s from Our Lady of the Lake University and his Ph.D. from Indiana University. He received the J.D. degree from Blackstone School of Law and the Doctor of Divinity degree from the theological seminary of the Anglican Church of North America.The Rt. Rev. Dr. B. J. Hartman has been an ordained clergyman for the past thirty-two years, and was a practicing clinical psychologist for thirty-eight years with specialization in hypnotherapy, clinical neuropsychology, and forensic psychology. He held academic rank in four universities and professional schools that included being an Adjunct Professor at the California School of Professional Psychology (Los Angeles Campus) and Assistant Clinical Professor (Voluntary faculty), University of California at Irvine College of Medicine, Dept. of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. He is the author of four other books and approximately eighty other publications.Dr. Hartman has lived in Southern California since 1969. He and his wife, Claire, and their dog, Crown Prince Mischa Bichon, live in Mission Viejo, CA.
