Each year, Ralis seemed to pick up the information faster and faster, or maybe Landon was teaching slower and slower. After a while, Landon would just give Ralis a book, he’d read it, get asked a few questions, Ralis would get them all right and Landon would take a nap while Ralis practiced on his own after studying from a new book. 'Your mind is like a little sponge Ralis, keep filling it up!' With time and patients, Landon managed to help Ralis control his emotions, so he wouldn’t get all worked up if something went wrong, at first, Ralis’ aim wasn’t very good and he loved to watch things like jelly or butter splatter. But, when Landon forced him to clean up his messes by using ’Grasping’ or ’Holding’ spells on him, Ralis was out matched. After some time, Ralis learned better aim and self control.
