This book on leadership came alive seeing the crying need of the work to be done in the vineyard of God. Blind leading the blinds, ordinary workers fighting for microphones on Sunday, ministers becoming gangsters, visiting members to destroy the work of God only because they want to control the set man and they want to rule the kingdom of God with their own canal mind. Heaven is not their goal, but they just want to fight for their own belly and their own fame. They feel so important to themselves and see the pastor as nothing. A pastor is a servant of God and must be respected. I learned from our teachers in those days that obedience is the greatest among the rules of God. An obedient servant will inherit his boss. Elisha did. A good follower will become a good leader, but today, a very bold follower, very insulting and ready to be unruly will be respected and, if possible, be placed over his boss. No. God appreciates followers that will respect and be obedient to his leaders so that he can be respected, too. Pastors are our spiritual fathers and they must be honoured. You can be older than your pastor, richer and full of wisdom, but he still demands your respect. They are sent by God, they are God’s generals and representatives. Please give them their dues.

We’ve been duped into removing prayer from the center of our churches and have placed it on the periphery or semi-periphery.  What we’re witnessing today in our churches, and in society at large, is that legacy of prayerlessness.  Church leadership may be hesitant and embarrassed to admit it, but there is a direct correlation between our spiritual weakness and our lack of corpo...

If God is good, why do we get sick? When God created the world, He declared: "It is good." But then came the Fall, and with it sickness and death. In this heart-tugging monograph, Dr. Davis McGuirt draws from both his training in theology and the personal agony of watching his father die from cancer to provide a variety of biblical reasons for why we get sick. We are also remin...
