Ce phénomène met en lumière la nature sélective du ciblage des individus et révèle les profondeurs des manœuvres corrélatives au pouvoir et à la corruption.Dès les premières audiences, la nature des accusations portées contre ce technocrate, ancien Premier Ministre soulève des doutes. Alors que de nombreux membres de l’élite politique du pays sont impliqués dans des actes de corruption, il est frappant de constater que c’est cet ancien Premier ministre qui est mis sur le devant de la scène. Ce choix, sans doute stratégique, interroge les motivations réelles derrière cette action judiciaire en ciblant une figure politique d’envergure.
