Le Petit Prince, par Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944), a été publié en Avril 1943 à la fois en anglais et en français, et une renommée mondiale bientôt atteint. Aujourdhui c´est un livre culte, considéré parmi les dix lectures essentielles pour tout le monde. Saint-Exupéry, qui a remporté plusieurs prix littéraires majeurs en France, et pilote militaire au début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, a écrit et illustré le manuscrit alors quil était en exil aux États-Unis. Le Petit Prince est un conte poétique qui est accompagné dillustrations faites à laquarelle par le même Saint-Exupéry. Cest lhistoire dun pilote qui se perd dans le désert du Sahara après que son avion a subi une panne, et là il connaît à un petit prince dune autre planète, qui racontent leurs aventures et sera leur ami.
