Mais personne dans l´histoire ne fut aussi talentueux dans tant de domaines que Saint-Georges. Pendant toute une période, il fut le plus grand escrimeur au monde. Il fut un violoniste exceptionnel, et avec son professeur, Gossec, il lança la composition de chêne à quartuor. Même Mozart est venu à Paris pour étudier cette nouvelle forme musicale. Saint-Georges fut un cavalier inégalé, un tireur exceptionnel et un danseur élégant. Les riches ont copié sa façon de s´habiller, et le peuple l´admirait, quand il se promenait dans les rues, et murmurait son nom. Il fut véritablement un homme de la Renaissance et une super star dans le Paris du roi Louis XVI et de Marie Antoinette. Mais le plus remarquable est le fait, qu´il était un mulâtre.
