L’imagination et l’engourdissement sont deux choses qui nous déterminent, nous et le monde. Mais seulement pour ceux qui se sont déjà interrogés sur l’univers et la vie. Ceux qui ont cherché à savoir pourquoi , à donner un sens. Ceux qui ont regardé dans le vide. Qu’est-ce que la réalité, qu’est-ce que la conscience, pourquoi sommes-nous ici ? La plupart du temps, ces questions aboutissent à l’incertitude et au doute. Il ne reste alors que des problèmes existentiels, la mort inévitable et aucune réponse. On se sent comme Sisyphe, toujours en train de se poser des questions sans trouver de réponses, et demain, c’est la même chose. Il existe toutefois des issues à ce problème. Ceux qui ont le courage de se suicider sont libérés de tous leurs problèmes. Cependant, les gènes égoïstes veulent se reproduire et nous maintiennent donc en vie en tant que personnes. La deuxième meilleure solution est la religion. Dieu est inexplicable, et cela explique tout. Il ne reste alors qu’une vie absurde, pleine d’humour, occupée en permanence, à la recherche éternelle d’un sens, de rêves éveillés et de divertissements bruyants. Tout cela pour apaiser les dragons du néant . À la fin, on vieillit, Thanatos, la mort, nous touche. La lumière s’éteint, le spectacle est terminé. Espérons que ce fut une bonne pièce.
