El Gregorito Benito Dos Santos Dominguez is a young African born in Cameroon. After his Bachelor’s degree, he decided to fly to Europe to train in film translation. Once in Madrid, he was haunted by racist cries, contempt for Africa, and discrimination of all kinds. In this abyss, he tried to establish a cultural, psychological, and economic comparison between Africa and Europe. Endowed with exotic beauty and a natural or mystical charm, he did the unimaginable; obsessed with the song 'Tití me preguntó' by Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, he spent his life flying from heart to heart, while leaving lasting scars. At the age of 28, he had more than 70 romantic relationships with different women, from Africa to Europe. Upon his return home, he finally decided to marry Maricela, a white woman. Like in a horror film, he found himself haunted by his countless exes and their families in the town hall’s wedding hall. Will someone die? How will this marriage end? Aside from this romantic, comic, and melancholic adventure of Gregorito, this text is a rallying cry for Pan-Africanism and Negritude. It denounces bad governance, dictatorship, tribalism, racism, among other things; raises questions about the conditions for economic development in Africa; and the challenges facing African cultures in the face of Westernization. In a specific context, the author defends polygamy; and explores religion, churches in particular.
