Les événements au Moyen-Orient ont sans aucun doute laissé une empreinte remarquable parmi les musulmans qui vivent sur le territoire des Balkans. Les lieux en Syrie et en Irak et la crise dans d’autres pays du Moyen-Orient constituent une menace importante pour les pays des Balkans. Pour mieux comprendre les processus politiques, sociaux, économiques et sécuritaires au Moyen-Orient, il est nécessaire d’analyser au moins tous les processus qui ont conduit à la création d’un État arabe unifié, son idéologie et ses objectifs. Ce travail tentera de répondre à certaines questions vraiment importantes concernant l’État islamique et l’idée d’étendre le territoire d’un grand pays musulman, en accordant une attention particulière aux pays des Balkans.
